A special art performance will kick start the event which is slated for next March.
Outstanding events include the Japanese Culture Days in January, an international stone sculpture camp in May, and a cuisine festival in June.
In June 2014, the People’s Committee and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province launched a contest to design the logo for the 2015 National Tourism Year. The organisation board received 83 entries from across the country. The first prize went to Nguyen Ngoc Huy Man from central Da Nang city.
